Wiring to 2 ohms?

Is there a way to wire to 2 ohms with two 4 ohm subs?

I wired my subs to 1 ohm and my amp just get shutting off.

2 4ohm subs in parrallel should be a 2ohm final load? What subs and amp u have?

wire parallel. 4/2 = 2

pos to pos, neg to neg.

you cannot wire them to 1 ohm. so either those are DVC4's or they are 2 ohm subs.

Wait, DVC 4 ohm subs. Two 10'' type r's and a 1000w alpine, blah who knows that model? Only 2 ohm stable.
