Wiring to 1 ohm with 2 single boxes

OK so all i have is 2 single boxes but these subs need to be wired togther @ 1 ohm, what's the best way to do this? drill a hole in the side and run the wire into the other box?

dual voice coil 4- ohm subs, the two subs have to be wired together right?

why not run each wire to the amp. both plus together, both neg together. (assuming each sub is @2 ohms)

Definately not but i don't have the cash atm to make or buy a box.

wire the subs to 2 ohms per box. then both subs to the amp on one channel. 2 + and 2- together. BAM 1 ohm

but when you say " then both subs to the amp" do u mean twist the positives together and the negatives togther and then plug those wires into the terminals...like it's + - + - , so theres stil a + and - with no wire in it?

if you have 2 + and - speaker inputs on the amp, they are paralleled internally, so wire both subs' voice coils parallel to make them 2 ohm a piece, then wire one sub to one + and one - and wire the other sub to the other + and -, tada, 1 ohm load

but if you want, then yes you could just wire them to the same + and - on the amp, and leave the other + and - open (assuming your amp DOES have two + and two -)
