o.k. lets say your hook up a wiring harness for hu and you re-ran new, bigger wire to your components in the doors..... how in the hell can you get the big wire straight to the hu? you know what? i'm a total idiot. the freaken speaker wire goes straight to the amp from the passive crossovers. but... what if you just wanted bigger wire for your coaxils? small to big wire defeats the purpose of going bigger.

it's for a girl i'm kinda fooling around with. her dad hard wired the hu to the factory wires and there's shorts everywhere. really she needs new wire for the front and rear speakers. it's in a fuvken jeep cherekee too. real tight dash.

her dumbass dad cut the factory wires pretty short and electrical taped everything. total idiot!!! they need to make wiring harnes wires with a bigger gauge. i don't like using cheap wire. really, i don't fool with coaxils. got her some kicker's. i guess their alright for coaxils. the best coaxils i ever heard was some focal's.

Yea, the Cherokee dash sucks big time.

I would take it out and re-do it. The size wire in there is more than adequate for HU power. Only thing that would need upgrading is the amp to crossover to comps, but thats self explanatory.

Edit: The wire in the harnesses is more than adequate for HU power. Unless playing sin waves at 0db, you're never going to see even 25w of power out of a HU.
