Wiring subs different ohm?

What are the possible consequences of wiring subs(of the same kind) but different impedances? Like running one D2 and one D4 to a mono amp assuming the subs and amp are matched exactly at the RMS rating. Or a S-4 and a D2/4???

You will eventually fry something. Do not wire different impedance load subs to the same input. Big NO-NO!

bottom line is dont do it!

The driver with the lower impedance will draw more power from the amplifier. One will be moving more than the other for a given volume level. Don't do it.
