Wiring Speakers

Alright I got my speakers in yesterday and its about 8:16 pm, I got about 2 hours or so maybe..im wanting to get my speakers done by then...10 o clock...Ive never installed speakers, should I install them without havin done this before? if you think so i need to know the best way to wiring the speakers, and where to put the crossovers

its not hard to install them. are you wiring to the hu or to an amp?

you need to run new speaker wire as far as you can to the speakers to get the best sound out of them and the crossovers need to be as close to the speakers as possible.

Put the crossovers wherever you want... they dont need to be near the speakers.

A lot of people put them in the door, but that's really bad for the crossover. It doesn't like moisture or excessive rattling. Which all happens in the door. Put them somewhere in your car, or next to the amp.
