Wiring sizes for setup

Hi all,

The setup is as follows:

Kicker KX800.4 AMP

Infinity Kappa 60.5cs comps

Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 svc sub

Questions:

-What size (Gauge) wire should I use from the amp to sub, and amp to comps?

-Is 4 Gauge big enough for that amp?

-What is a good well-priced kit that should have most of what I need?

4 ga kit is fine---go to wal-mart to buy the kit---just make sure the kit has shielded rca's and that'll be just fine. As far as wire to comps--if your crossovers have built in wires just get a comparable size if they don't have built-in's just buy a roll of 12 or 14 gauge wire while your at wally world.

Ya, wal-mart is a bit far... I live in South Africa... Anywayz, what size do you think for the sub?

Oh, don't worry. Here in SA with welding your are seen as skilled labour. It is a real skill! So's bricklaying... but I know that Americans don't do alot of bricklaying.

thanx for the bit about welding--anyways i would say some 10 or 12 gauge speaker wire for those subs would be just fine.
