Wiring second battery?

My old man wont order the stuff cause i dont have at least $500 in the bank, cause im not 18 and dont have a credit card. So i think ill go up to my nearest car audio shop and buy a 4guage amp kit and use the 4 guage for my big 3, will have to do for now. My lights are dimming and my sub is way quiet now that i added the speaker amp in.

NO NO NO! 0 gauge

Its a 96' plymouth neon and the wires there now are seriously like 12guage for power and something smaller for the grounds, so there is no way 4guage cant help me, lol. Im gonna run up to home depot today and see what they have, will they carry wire like that? I just want it to somewhat pound like the good ol days...
