wiring question

my dad used my car for about a week and he didnt want my base on while he was listening to his music. so what i did was unplug the 2 wires that look like the video/sound cable that plugs into a TV. now i want to put them back in, and me being an idiot, cant remember if they go into the "Pass Thru" or the "Input" slots. so which place would they go into? also, the cables are black and white and where i would plug them in is red and white. im guessing that the black one goes into the red and the white goes into the white, but im not sure.

i just have one amp and 2 subs hooked up to the amp if that makes any difference.
