Wiring question

I am going to be installing a line output convertor in my truck soon, and if I am understanding the diagram correctly, I have to splice into my current stock speaker wires in order to get the signal to my amplifier correct?

My question is, is there a connector I can buy so that I don't have to do any cutting on my stock wires? I don't want to strip any part of them either.

this will do what you need. they are "tap splices". no stripping or anything required.

God I hate those quick taps/splices

I used them for my car once (installing some interior lights or something and they were included in the kit). Never again. I'd rather just take the time to solder or even cut the wires and use a twist connector.

i used them with zero problems. actually when i had to splice a diff connector for my TPS on my engine. been ~8 mos ago.

also when putting in auto-down switches on my windows.

x2

Just cut into the harness and solder everything back together. It's not that big of a deal as long as you solder and wrap it up.
