Wiring Question?

When I recently bought a truck it had a pioneer amp and two 6x9s behind the seat. Replaced the Eclipse HU that come with the truck with my Alpine. Has worked fine ever since...The other day it started where I would be going down the road and the amp/6x9s would stop working. When I turned the truck off and back on it would come back on. Today it has quit and will not come back on. When I turn the key on and the HU comes on the light on the amp will flash on and then go off.I took the HU back out and checked the remote wire connection there, it was fine. I checked the connection at the amp also it was fine. I can take run a wire from 12v wire on amp to remote and amp will come on. What do you believe my problem is? Im guessing wire running from HU to amp. What do you guys think???

pull out the head unit and check the remote wire connection to the head unit's harness.

I did and even re-done it...didnt help.

turn on your system and check for 12vdc at the remote wire on the amp.

I piddled with it for about an hour...it was the 12v power wires fuse I checked it earlier and it appeared to be good I took it back out and the fuse was cracked when the fuse was getting hot I guess it was expanding thus loosing current.Bought a new fuse fixed problem thanks for help
