Yes. Set the gain with a 40Hz 0db test tone and DMM. It will only hit 500 watts on the loudest of bass hits, and only for a split second. Most music will be sending around 300-400w. Your subs are rated for 600w peak, so you'll be fine.
Of course, the absolute safest way to set the gains, will be with the same test tone, but set the gains for 350w max. Then you're sure to never have a problem.
