Wiring Question - Replacing 3rd Party Stereo with a New One

Hi, I just have a question about the wiring situation if I buy a new stereo. I already installed a Sony deck in my car a few years ago as well as a wiring harness for it. If I buy the new Pioneer deck that I'm looking at, will I be able to splice the new radio wiring into that existing wiring harness, or will I have to buy a new one?
