Wiring problem.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but if that is the ground, where do i connect the other end to?

hopefully the other end of the black wire is connected to a ground on the car somewhere.

It isn't its just hanging loose in under the hood, i traced it, and it isn't connected to anything.

connect to the frame, find a spot. sand it down to bare metal and screw it in, or the negative terminal on the batt
