I got a Alpine Type R Dual 2 and a Soundstream Van Gogh 600.2 (600 RMS) Bridged.

When it hits at high volume it will make my radio, and amp shut off and come back on. My lights dimm like crazy.

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am with a 105 Amp Alt. Optima redtop under the hood. I had the alt and battery tested and they cam back good.

I am runnin 8 gauge wire now. I have orderd a 4 gauge kit from knukonceptz.

What is the problem? I think I may have the amp wired to a low ohm load so I am going to re-wire that but would that cause this?

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
