Wiring Options for Component Sets... Tweeter needs its own wire?

Okay, basically I want to move my Crossovers from my CDT-CL61A set to the trunk. I'm going to be making an amp wall etc. but I have a question... I just ran like a length of 17ft of 16awg for my speaker to the trunk so I can hook up the X-over and Speaker amp (when I get it anyway)

My question:

Will I have to run a whole nother wire back up form the X-over to the front door for the tweeter or can I use one wire and somehow hook them up with only using one wire? I'm not Ohm-savvy basically so I dunno if this is possible

And i don't want to go out and buy another big spool of wire when I have just enough left for one more full length car run...

you'll need a total of 4 wires (2 runs of speaker wires) in order to do that.

and tt never hurts to have some extra speaker wire on hand either.

Yes - you'll have one run of wire from whatever amplifier is powering a given side to the crossover unit. You then will have two separate runs (as there are two separate outputs on the crossover along with its single input) out to the drivers the crossover is working with. One run will go from the crossover to the midwoofer and the other run will go to the tweeter. Ensure you have the appropriate driver connected to the differing outputs on the crossover. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Like jrz126 stated ~ it never hurts to have extra on hand (especially once the car audio bug well and truly bites hard and you're constantly fidgeting with something. I keep two 50ft rolls of speaker cable on hand "just in case" most times. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
