wiring of subs

my amp is 1000 at 4ohm and 500 at 2ohm my speakers wire down to 2ohms but if i play it bridged at 4ohm will it still use all 1000 watts or is that bad for my speakers
uhhh Are you sure about that? What amp is it? Why are you even talking about 4 ohms if your speakers wire down to 2 ohm?
