When a shop was wiring my system they extended the trunk wire from a spot i cant really see right now without removing tons of panels,

they used speaker wire to extend it, im assuming one is + the other (-)

if im adding 3 neone lights how would i wire it, would this cause issues do to reistance if i put them all in parallel to this hangning wire?

how can i wire these to activate only when i open the trunk? people in the past have said to use a relay but where do i get a remote if i only have a positive and negative on the extended wire?

Well a relay would solve your problem about the remote, why don't you do some research on relays and how they work and how to wire them up, just google "Relay wiring diagram," it would take too long for me to link to pictures and describe how one works when you could get a better understanding of it and how it works yourself by just using google. Yeah, there are some knowledgeable people on here but they can't stoop down and help everyone with every single problem, this isn't google people.

Sorry about the rant, I don't mean to pick on you, but thats how i figured out how to wire up a relay, google knocked that shit out of the park for me.

try pulling a cable off the light that is in your trunk or you could just wire up a cable from the battery trough a switch and just turn it on when you pop your trunk
