ok i was curious about the modded 2400s. how exactly do u wire them for 16v. and when u wire them to 16v does the normal 2400s read 16v as well when u wire them with them? and if so are u able to wire 4 hc2400s with 2 modded 2400s and do 16v.

lade

id imaging the middle neg/pos go together like series and you use the standard connections to wire the batt

and if you wire them to 2 12 volt battsa no, you wont get 16v, something like 14v insterad

i wouldnt do that

well have u ever seen the kinetik 17v bank? its 2 modded batteries with 2 2400s. i just get confused about it. those arent my batteries they are pioneerpimps but i bought 4 of the non modded batteries and i was going to see if he still had his modded if i knew how they wired together.

The batteries with the 3 posts are basically broken into a 4 and 8 volt battery. With the two posts jumpered the battery should read 12+ volts.Remove the jumper then You need to take the 4v posts and wire them in series with one of the batteries without the 3 posts(12v).That gives you 16v.Then with the 8 volt side you have left you wire that one with one of the other 8v sides of another 3 post battery.Sorry if this is confusing.

huh.... wha???

so its a 1 for 1 thing. so if i had 8 normal 2400s i would need 8 modded batteries as well.?
Two of the 3 posts and 2 normal ones will make 3 16volt batteries. The 2 4 volt posts series with the 2 normal 12v and then the 2 8 volt post series together to give you the 3rd 16 volt battery.
