Wiring LOC in 04 Mazda 3 with Bose

check the fuses? maybe tripped one up?
and make sure all the harnesses are plugged back in?
We double checked all the harness connections already. Would there be another fuse (inline) on the radio itself? Already checked the radio fuse on the fuse panel located by the drivers feet...

Yes, kept the bose amp. Grabbed the remote from one of the inputs on the harness that connects to the back of the Bose amp.
I know this is gona sound really stupid..but you've pressed all the buttons on the factory player to get it to turn on right? With the car fully started?

Do you have a meter? I can give you the color code for the power for that radio and make sure its getting an ignition and constant.

Haha, nothing is a stupid question, because Im sure we are overlooking something simple and stupid. We will try some more, maybe holding the buttons longer...

I think I have my meter at the shop (maybe at home) but shoot me the color codes and Ill check those out.

alright I'll shoot you a PM in a sec.

Am I following this correctly, you have a regular LOC that you're trying to get RCA signal to the amp? by tapping into the rear speaker you would only get mid to high frequencies so if you amp is set to Low Pass than there would be no sound out of the amp. if you are tapping into the factory sub, are you tapping the speaker wire going into the sub? if it's a single sub are you connecting the single + and single - to the sub to both +'s and both -'s on the LOC? is the LOC balanced or adjustable? if it's adjustable try messing with that. also make sure your LOC can handle the wattage being put out by the Bose factory amp. also check the setting on the amp, I remember I did this before and the amp had the HPF on and I tapped into the factory sub I was baffled for 3 days and my brother came over to help. after he looked at the install he said he could fix the problem for $50 and food, I was in dire need and forked it over. he flipped the switch to LPF and I was fuming. hope this helps some, good luck with this little project.
