Need advice

Im looking to get a new kicker L7 15" powered by the kicker zx1000.1. I drive a 93 ford escort. Will this sub and amp totally kick my battery and alternators butt? I was planning on doing the "Big 3" upgrade with 4 guage, should i go for the 1/0?

I think you car should be able to handle that. you may want to get a second bat though. as for the big 3 the bigger the better, so if you have 0/1 or you haven't bought the wire yet I would go with 0/1.
