yes it is, but you need a music interface power source. You can't wire them inline with the subs.

A less expensive approach would be to use cold cathodes. look here:

Do you care to explain what you did with the cathodes?

I was thinking of putting plexi on my amps and possibly putting some kind of LED or something to highlight the amps' internals more at night. I'm worried that whatever I use might heat up the internals too much though. I know you have some experience, so your advice would be nice.

LED's produce virtually zero heat, don't worry about it.

I belive I also need some kind of relay becouse if I plug it into distro, it will stay on when the car is off.
