Amp Install Kit help

I have a 600W RMS Boss sub with an Alpine MRD-M605 600W RMS amp just purchased. My car is an '04 SRT-4 with the stock 136 amp alternator and 450 amp battery. Since I have no plans of pushing anything over RMS, would I still need to do Big 3 do you think? Or would it just simply be recommended regardless?

Also, I need to get an amp install kit. I notice a thread where someoen referenced this link for one:

Would the KLM-K4 be sufficient for what I'm trying to do? I'd like to not go about $50 on the install kit, unless that's really going to sacrifice quality.

600RMS on stock electrical and a 450amp battery is gonna be rough. I had slight dimming running two, smaller amps adding up to about 500RMS on a 130amp alt and 900amp battery.
