Anyone know the wiring configuration for the radio?

Im trying to hook up my pioneer h/u and I cant figure it out.

There is a black, gray, and a yellow wire that was in one harness. I assumed yellow from my harness would go to yellow, black to black(ground) and red to gray.

But then I realised, yellow on my harness, was attached to orange, and the orange was for constant power (not ignition power)

Im baffled

yellow = Ignition controlled hot lead

orange = Hot lead

black = ground

dark blue and light blue = RH rear speaker

brown and yellow = LH Rear Speaker

grey and tan = LH Front

Dark and light green = RH front

Pink = power antenna lead

what about white with black stripe and gray with black stripe?? they both say somthing negative on it or somthing

//edit:

so i would go (hu first -- car wiring second

black to black

yellow(orange) to yellow

grey to red???

because there r three wire harnesses that come stock in the dash.

one harness is the power harness(3 wires, black grey yellow)

one is the rear speakers(not sure all)

and one is the front speakers(not sure all)

edit//:

Brown, Gray, Light green, dark green is one set

light blue, dark blue, yellow, yellow(brown stripe) is the other..

the hanress that came with my pioneer is a mess....

but;

red cable = [labled-acc] ?

black = ground

orange = [labled-battery]?

also, on my wiring harness;

dark geen = left rear positive

purple =right rear pos

white = left front pos

gray = right front pos

green (black stripe) =left rear neg

purple (black stripe)=right rear neg

add the three power wires, and then the only mistery wires are a a white (with a black stripe) and a gray with a black stripe

the gray with black stripe is labled right front neg, so i assume the white w black is left front neg?

exactly what wires are we talking here...on the deck harness itself? or your vehicle wiring

inside the car, all there is is 11 wires

POWER:

Black

Yellow

Gray

FRONT:

right- gray

left-white

REAR:

right-purple, purple (black stripe)

left-green(black stripe), dark green'

and then;

FRONT:

left- white with black stripw

right- gray n black stripe??

Why didn't you just the $15 harness? Solder the wires on the harness to the pioneer harness, and plug it in.....I don't get why people hack on the factory wiring.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Its so much simpler that way.

because this is my first h/u install, i dont know soldering, and I dont have money for the harness (lol)

okay, so then it connects as follows: (harness wires--then stock wires)

Power:

orange to yellow

red to gray

black to black

Front speakers:

gray to ?

gray with black stripe to ?

white to ?

white with black stripe to ?

Rear Speakers:

purple to ?

purple (black stripe) to ?

green(black stripe) to ?

dark green' to ?

The colors that came in stock wires are

Brown, Gray, light green, dark green

Light blue, Dark blue, Yellow, Yellow with brown stripe

so what is the correct way to hook up the speakers?
