Wiring hu

correct. Unless you can get your hands on the mechanics version of Ford's electrical diagrams.. this would be the way to go.

Or you could pick up a DMM and test each wire to see what it does.

lol....all u gonna need now is a test light, which u can get at a dollar store or something......

with your key in the on position, use the test light to see which (2) wires light up and seperate those two wires.....now with the key in the off position test those two wires see which one doesnt light up.....the one that doesnt light up, connect it to the red wire, and the one that lights up only with ignition in the on position connect it to the yellow wire......And of course connect the black to the black........leave the other wires hangin...I dont even think your van has power antenna anyways soooo dont worry about it....

try that! remember DONT Short nothing out.......

i alreaty did that but 3 light up and 1 of those stays up when key on off. So im confused

Is it really so hard to look this information up? Anyway it took me about 5 seconds to find the information you need.

Constant 12V+ Green/Yellow

Switched 12V+ Yellow/Black

Ground Black/Green

Illumination Blue/Red

Dimmer n/a

Antenna n/a

Antenna Right Front

Front Speakers 6" x 8" Doors

Left Front (+) Orange/Light Green

Left Front (-) Light Blue/White

Right Front (+) White/Light Green

Right Front (-) Dark Green/Orange

Rear Speakers 6" x 8" Side Panels

Left Rear (+) Gray/Light Blue

Left Rear (-) Tan/Yellow

Right Rear (+) Orange/Red

Right Rear (-) Brown/Pink

i alreaty looked at that and some of its wrong b/c all my negative speaker wires are black with white stripe and the ground is the solid black

which three lights up! and which one stays lit with key on/off......You're almost there man......
The orange and yellow with black stripes light up with key on and the green with yellow lights up with the key on and off

Wire up..........

Green/yellow stripe to the yellow wire

Yellow/black stripe to the red wire

****Black to the Black wire......

****USE your test light and connect the clamp to the black wire and touch the green/yellow wire.....if it lights up its the ground.....

It should work right there! Dont use the other wires....

12+ volt accessories just basically means that it'll power all your accessories when you turn the ignition on! meaning your headunit will turn on if you turn your key to the on position....

Ive hooked everything up right but when i turn my car on the hu doesnt turn of the little power light on the power button comes on but the display desnt come on and it doesnt play
