wiring HU.. running into trouble

there is a brown wire coming out of my HU.. but the brown wire im supposed to connect it to with my bose factory bypass harness is attached to a fuse.. do i just forget about it then and not do anything with it?

and also on the bose apapter harness there are two purples.. but they are brighter than the purples on the HU.. are they still the same thing?

nope don't believe so but i could be wrong let me do some research a friend of mine said brown is steering wheel controls on his 4000

well lookin at the 3200 install manual it says brown is steering wheel remote did u buy a module to hook that up too?

Just leave the browns and blacks off those are for if you have steering wheel controls

ok i have browns on my new HU but i dont have them from before.. i have the black ones tho..
