I just bougt a pioneer deh-p850mp head unit.........i also bought a jbl bp600.1 and two apline type r 1221 subs. They are 2 ohm dual voice coil and i was wonderin how to wire them to my amp......it is a mono amp and i have 4 voice coils that are 2 ohm each......thanks for your help

Well, an amp wiring kit is a nice place to start. 4 guage should be fine. Not sure how you plan to wire your subs. You can do either .5, 2 or 4 ohms total though. I think 2 ohms would be the way to go.

hey thanx man i was lookin for that site.....i just bought a 4 gauge wiring kit over ebay and i will prolly run with the 2 ohm load.....so i don't risk n e thing.......plus the type r subs are 300 rms and 1000 peak........so runnin 300 rms to them each will be fine cuz the amp is rated at 600x1 @ 2 ohm.......thanx for your help and will follow up when finished
