my friend just brought a sony 4/3 channel 600 watt amp to be put in. He is hooking it up to 2 12" mtx 4ohm subs....how do i wire it to this amp?

try posting what loads the amp can handle or the amp model so we have a clue as to what you're working with.

Does it look like this? If so, that amp is useless unless he wants to run the subwoofers with 60w a piece @ 4 ohms.

4 x 60 @ 4 ohms

2 x 120 + 300 @ 2 ohms

2 x 60 + 150 @ 4 ohms
