what **** wiring harness do i need for a 05 silverado. no bose, steering wheel controls or onstar. i bought a scosche one but apparently its not the right one cuz nothing seems to be working

i had the same issue in my car and it turns out i wasn't getting a proper ground through the harness, i had to run a separate ground from my HU to the frame somewhere

read on another site to get a metra 70-2003 and run your own power wire

any ideas about this?
