$50 for not f'ing up factory radio wiring FTW! GM uses the radion for more than just music. It will cost you more in the long run if something gets screwed up. I ten to play it on the safe side most of the time though.

with out that harness you will need to keep the factory radio hooked up. my cavalier stock radio sits in the trunk. i tried to do with out it but the gauges get screwed up and the dash lights up like a christmas tree. that box like unit on the harness is all the same stuff that the radio has with out using the radio...it's not just for door chimes....at least for my cavalier. i can get you one that has the class II data bus and the chimes built in for $75+shipping (metra brand)....if your interested.

Walmart? Go to ebay, internet's walmart. I got my GMRC-01 unit for my truck for like 30$ shipped because it had "Distressed packaging" which means its package was crushed a little but the products fine. Also remember if you ahve steering wheel controls you'll lose them unless your new head unit has a remote and you buy an adapter for the controls. Sucks, I know, but its worth it.
