I am getting 1 alpine type r 2 ohm sub 12' along with one of spkrmans boxes. Now I also have a kenwood amp the 05 model that puts out 900w rms at 2 ohms. I know I can use 4 gauge wiring for that one sub.

My question is if i were to get another amp for my high's in the car would have to switch to 0 gauge wiring. I have 2 infinity 6.5's and 2 infinity 6x8s also the 05 model. What amp would i get for that powering ???

So what ur saying is it would be better just to use 0 gauge because eventually i may have to change, and i guess i atta keep it all the same. Would i get the same power though to the sub whether i used 0 or 4, would i get more with one or the other
