Wiring Door Speakers

For those of you here at CarAudio.com with a 2000 Honda Civic. How did you wire your door speakers? Did you use the existing factory wiring? or did you run wire from the door to the passenger compartment and if so how is that done. I don't want to use the factory wire for my aftermarket door speakers. Any tips would be appreciated.

its very easy --- you run right through the existing path.

just tapping into the factory wiring and cutting it off from the h/u will be fine. i doubt that you will hear and audible difference between that and aftermarket wiring.

Can't do it. The factory wiring takes up the whole path.

I am an aircraft mechanic and what we do is tie some lacing cord to one end of the existing wire and pull the wiring out. Then tie the cord to the new wiring and pull it back through the other way. You know any mechanics that may have the stuff? You know you do. He'll get her done, sir.
