Wiring / Crossover help

I made a mistake and have two options:

1) locate passive crossover towards the door hinge (on inside of door panel) so it takes less abuse from the opening and closing of door, but i would need to splice + solder + shrink tube additional length to the wire.

2) locate passive crossove towards the center of the door (outside of door panel i.e inside the cabin of the car, but concealed) where it might take more abuse, but wouldn't need to add additional length to the wire.

I can't add additional wire through the grommet to locate the passover somewhere that isn't on the door. I don't have time/money/patience to re-run new wire at the proper length.

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...
