wiring connectors

i find my self using spade terminals more then any thing . like on my deck i used male and female spade terminals so if i ever wanted to change out the deck to some thing else of a different brand i could with out hacking up wire . as far as the way i put them on i always solder i think it looks better then crimping

The only connectors in my system are the spade terminals on the woofers in my doors. Not a coincidence that this is the only connection I had come off and had to crack open my door again to fix.

Everything else is heatshrink and solder.

I do like to use the HU wiring harness adaptors, so I can cut and solder all the connections, without hacking the factory harness. If I ever sell my car, or want to change the HU, I can return to the factory harness or install a new harness.

So that makes two connectors. Wiring harness multi-pins, and the spade connector on the door woofers.

All power connections are compression screws onto bare wire. My system is all Knukonceptz wire, power & ground distro and battery terminals.
