Wiring Choices

Hey guys,

I am debating on what wire to run. Keep in mind I have both strands of wire. Right now I have Kicker 8 gauge wire going from battery to my speaker amp and now I am hooking up my amp for the sub. I just ordered knukonceptz 4 gauge KLMX cable for my sub amp. I also have a distro block thats 4 gauge in to two fused 8 gauge cables going out.

Now my question is should I just do 2 strands(8 gauge going to speaker amp and 4 gauge going to sub amp) or should I just do the strand of 4 gauge going to the distro block and then running 8 gauge wires to the speaker amp and the sub amp.

My sub amp is going to be a hifonics bxi1606d.

4 gauge to both 8 gauge is most peoples speaker wire

I cant do that because its a 4 gauge in and 2 8 gauge outputs. Pretty much I just wanna know if its bad to run 2 different wires. Also, do you guys think that an 80 amp AGU fuse is ok to run to my bxi1606 amp that has two 80 fuses on it?
