Hdc3 18 + AQ2200 at 1 ohm

VS

FiQ 18 + AQ2200 at 2ohms

Im just wonderin cuz Im about to order the FiQ 18" + AQ2200.

Im all about SQL but is it worth it or would SL be the right way to go?

Would the Hdc3 sound bad but get loud?

Can someone compare how the Hdc3 system would be against the FiQ system...

I'd go with the AQ, I was told that the AQ gets **** loud and sounds good doing it.

If you get the AQ you will have more money to spend on a larger amp btw.

I am not sure the Q will take 2k for daily, 1500 is pushing it pretty hard, I have heard of peopel puttign 2k on them but not seen it.

The AQ is recomended for that amp, call scott at Fi and ask him I guess.

I run AQ subs and the GF has a Q. I like them both, but the AQ's are MUCH louder and SQ is just as good in a proper enclosure and tuned right. Both are excellent subs, so I'd base it more on the power you will have. Around 1k I'd do a Q, 2k I'd do the HDC...
