wiring/big 3 questions

going to be doing JUST the big 3 soon. just want to make sure i know everything before i get into it.

so, for ring terminals and zero gauge...whats the best way to get them on if i dont have a vice or solder?

and how do you even strip zero gauge? lol

and do i NEED new batt terminals?

any help is appreciated

Well without solder, or vice, not sure what to say...typically a vice is like 5-10$ used...and id advise asking friends/family/neighbors for solder. The solder is not needed, but i would rather do it the best way.

Striping it, is fairly easy, just cut a slit in the wire near the end, and then bend it back and forth, then slit it again, and so on, eventually you will get it all the way around, and it'll be just like you striped it and you can pull it off.

New battery terminals, not necessary, but may be easier.

I use a vice, strip zero with a utility knife, and I have marine battery terminals from Walmart that were 5 bucks so my side posts are for the big 3 and my top posts are for all my amp wiring.

get a side terminal adapter to make it longer. to strip i just use a razor blade, and i use a vice for crimping.

um its just a side terminal adaptor. can find it at any parts store or wal mart. looks like your stock terminal, just a little bit longer than normal.

yeah its about an inch longer than your stock one would be, i can take a pic of one in my job for you if youd like

ask your g/f.

But its just a little more space to get everything on there without having to squeeze in a limited space.
