this amp also fried my cuz's 2 500wrms each tweets...i dont really think it put out that much power into one channel...cause his 2 tweets are 4ohms and were wired in parallel to make the 8ohms...

but i see where you're coming from...what can i do to reduce the power???

2 4 ohm speakers wired in parallel will not produce an 8 ohm load. that will produce a 2 ohm load. maybe that's your problem?

the speakers are from a pro sys that i put in my room...most of the equipment are all pro...except this amp...its not one of those 3 way home setups...its part of a pro system that i got in my room...2 12"....2 horns" and these tweets...

my bad....my tweets were in parallel...his was in serial...he's has the 500rms...

something is missing and the only tweeters i've seen taking 500 watts are not being used in people's bedrooms. this isn't to mention that they would be planar, ribbon or piezo horns....not many 3" cones can take even half that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but as a question...what are some 500wrms tweets that can handle pro apps???

you'll want somethin 14x7 or 16x8 you know wide and big, once you pick out a compression driver I'm sure the manyfacture will recomend the right lense for it

oh ok...i know about the shell sizes and so on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ...but will these horns bring out those high frequencies...20khz...without disrupting the mid/treble
