wiring avh p5700 dvd

Hey guys, im trying to install an avh p5700dvd and i noticed it has 2 black wires and I dont know which is ground or if both are. One wire is thinner than the other. Any help appreciated.

Im almost positive that they are both grounds it has been a while since I wired mine and if you still dont know by tomorrow I can look at mine for you.

so I should wire them to the two grounds on the harness? and another question- theres one yellow cable on the HU but two on the harness. Can iI hook it up to either

because right now its not working and i dont know why

i have loose orange, yellow, and brown wire on the harness and a loose purple on the HU. Is this right?
