Wiring and choosing help

Hi everyone, i'm looking for a set of component speakers for my system.

I need 6.5s with tweeters and 6x9 for the rear.

The amp i have is an alpine MRP-F240

here are the specs

* 40 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

* 50 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms

* 100 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms

* 2-, 3-, or 4-channel output

* 4-ohm stable in bridged mode

i want to run all the interior speakers to this amp. How do I choose the right speakers for these specs and what do you recommend i get. Looking to spend maybe 300 for all speakers. I'm really just having trouble figuring out the ohms of the component sets.

Forget the 6x9.... Just get a great set of components up front with 300 bucks and bridge that amp! Most people will agree it will sound much better.

Some components to look into..

Hertz hSK165

Those fit within your budget. I had the HSKs and recently switched to the Tempo 6s and am very pleased with them. They are a little bit more expensive, but well worth it!

and just run the subwoofer in the rear then?

Yeah, run a nice component set up front, and a sub in the rear and you will be very happy!

i use 6x9's for rear fill and as long as you get a good pair and u know how to set them so they arent distorting you can do that

how do i bridge the amp to run 100 watts x 2 at 2 ohm? do i use the 1st and 2nd channels bridged and the 3rd and 4th bridged to achieve this?
