Wiring and alt questions

I need to run the engine to chassis ground for the big 3. How long can the cable realistically be the easiest place I see to run it is about 14 inches away. Also I want to run a db drive okur 800.1 - 800w at 2 ohms and a Polk 330a 75w x 2 at 4 ohms. Will my stock 90a alt be able to handle that with a big 3 upgrade.

Your stock alt prolly won't be enough The wire. Just remember the longer the grounds the more resistance

Hmm ok there is a fairly local alternator place I'll see what they will charge me to make it higher amps.

145 for a 140amp alt. Could be worse I guess.
