Wiring an amp type for 2 DVC Kicker Compvr 10's - 4 ohm

So I have 2 Kicker CVR 4 ohm 10's that I haven't wired up in years. Looking to buy a new amp. Previous amp was a kenwood which I am pretty sure I bridged.

Can I wire the DVC's for a 2 ohm load or are my choices only 4 and 1 ohm.

I lost my amp and need a new one. Suggestion on what amp I should get for these subs. I believe the are 400 RMS per sub

Thanks

-Josh

You can't wire a pair of 4 ohm DVC subs to a 2 ohm load. The most simple choice would be a mono amp that does ~800W at 2 ohms, although 2 smaller mono amps running at 2 ohms would work as well. I have some Precision Power amps that would work for either configuration without spending a lot of money.
