HPF On or Off?

OK I have a pair of components with a crossover for woofer and tweets from amp to crossover and crossover to woofer and tweets. On my amp do I set to HPF or off which I am assuming full. And what would be best to set the crossover at?

I do it depending on what components and amps I am using as well as if the customer wants more bass up front.
