wiring amp to toggle

My toggle has a power, ground, and an accessory. I wire the the remote from the HU to the ACC and connect it. With the same connector I used have another wire coming out of it to the amp. Or do I wire from the HU to the power of the toggle, then from the ACC to the amp?

take the remote wire coming out of ur head unit to the power side of of ur toggle switch and come out the other side with the rest of the remote wire and take it to ur amp............

Actually I am taking the remote wire from the HU, splitting it into two. Running each one to a toggle. From there i am running one to the sub amp and the one to my mids/high amp. So I can turn them on and off when i want to. Do you think this is a good idea? Is it bad for a toggle to be turned on for that long?

all a toggle switch does is close the circuit and allows power to go through it.... just some type of conductive bar in it so when you flip the switch the bars touch the other bars that are connected to the power coming in and the wire going to ur amp. it wont hurt to leave them on all the time if you wanted too. if you want to do it then it is a good idea. but you might want to look for a toggle switch with like a led light on top so you dont forget about them.

Those are the types I use. Also since I am running remote wire to two amps, if i run out of it, do you think it would be alrite just to splice other wire into it????
