Wiring a Terminal Cup?

where would i put the speaker wire from the sub on the terminal cup? would it go into the holes or where?

A. crimp on female connectors to the wire from the sub and slide them on to the tabs.

B. solder the wire directly to the tabs

Solder it straight on, or get a female terminal that would slip right over those tabs.

Last resort: wrap the wire around the terminal and electrical tape it on.

I like the "wrap the wire around and cover with electrical tape" option, its sooooo easy for us lazy guys.

solder it on. But you'll need a torch if your going to be using like 12 guage wire

Use some JB weld or just tig it on

stuff a mdiget in your box and have him hold the wires on to the cup.

no you wont, any 25 watt soldering iron would be fine.. thats even a bit excessive. a 15watt would work.

I use quick disconnects. Whole lot easier if you ever have to take the speaker out. As long as you have a properly crimped connector, it's not going anywhere...

I used ring terminals that I had laying around and unscrewed those little nuts and put the ring terminals on and put it all back together
