wiring a kenwood kvt-m700

Hard to say without seeing the entire wiring harness in hand. My past experience would tell me that the brown is a speaker wire or possibly an auxillary light power source. If the dark blue wire is solid it is possibly the remote turn on. However, if the wire has a thin white stripe it may be a speaker wire. Try Kenwood's web site for technical support.

1 solid dark blue wire not hooked up

black ground

Is this the wiring harness that was included with Kenwood or is this a universal fit wiring harness that links your Kenwood to your car? Universal wiring harnesses will supply all of the wiring possibilities for your head unit and vehicle. The extra wires could be as follows: Auxillarly lighting that may not be used in your particular installation, a CD changer controller/turn on lead, power antannae (some head units will operate a power antannae), or possibly something involving satellite radio. If your head unit has power and everything works fine I would consider the extra wires null and void for your installation.

no power nothing.this is the wiring harness from the kenwood.there is two.one that powers the brain box,all the wire hooked right up to the factory plug.there is one 3 plug harness on the back of the t.v. and its the yellow wire, the black wire and the green

do i hook the black wire to the ground
