im running cdt tw24 or 25s, they go nicely with the mpyres, thats what im using now with 300 watts going to each door lol

I just like 8 ohm speakers because you can run a ton of them much easier.

If I may offer one last bit of input, since you seem to be able to go with a large format tweeter, you should look into getting one with a chambered back that allows for a lower resonant frequency. It will pay dividends down the line. It shouldn't tip the budget to far to get one.
