Wiring 2ohm amp to 2ohm dual voice coil sub help

Looking to wire up a alpine Mrp-M500 to a single kicker CompRt 10 2 ohm dual voice coil sub in a sealed box. Not sure how to wire it up to get the most out of this amp. Kinda thinking I should be looking to run a different amp with this sub since its only 300w if running 4ohms. Recommendations?

you need a amp that either is 1 ohms stable ,or 4 ohms stereo or mono block

The amp I have is a mono block I believe. It's also stable at 4ohms but is 300w compared to 500w if at 2ohms. So I'm not real sure how to wire it up.

+ of one coil to the - of the other then the 2 terminals remaining wire them to the amp

You can't make a dual coil 2 ohm sub 2 ohms.
