Wiring 2 subs...

I was just wondering, I know you can set a single 2 ohm DVC sub to run at 1 or 4 ohms my making it parallel or series.

Is the same true when running 2 subs? Like, could i run 2 2ohm SVC* subs at 4 ohms rather than at 1?

Ive never heard of it before, but i cant think of a reason why it cant be done.

I was talking about a SVC, but it still answers the question.
