wiring 2 subs to mono amp

Ok both subd are dual 2 and I want to wire each sub down to 1 ohm inside the box so the amp sees a total of 2 ohms. I know how to wire it up to 4 ohms each inside the box but not down. So if anyone could help id appreciate it.

run a wire on one coil from + to - and then from the other coil to your terminals on your box. and do it the same with the other woofer.
