wiring 2 amps question

my friend asked me this question and i wasnt positive so I guess I will pass it on to you guys and maybe you can help me out. My friend already has a sub and amp wired in his car and he wants to add a PA system that requires an amp. He has an amp that will work but he wants to know if he can run a power wire to his sub amp ( like he already has) and than attach another power wire to the power terminal ( where the first power wire goes into the sub amp ) and run the second power wire to his second amp for the PA so that he does not have to run another power wire from the battery. Than he wants to know if he can do the same thing with the ground wire. does this make sense? I did not think you could do it but let me know, and if you could give another better way that would be great

yeah you can do that, a cleaner better way is by using a distribution block and hook both of em up to that, but you can piggy back the power and grounds, it will work, just make sure that the main wire going to the battery is large enough so support the amperage of both units. Hope that makes sense. For the ground I would just run a new wire to the same ground location though.
